What to Expect
We are looking for a motivated Application Specialist to support our industrial printing solutions. In this role, you will act as a technical interface between technicians, customers, and sales teams, ensuring optimal application performance and high customer satisfaction. You will support product implementations, conduct demonstrations, and assist customers in integrating printing systems into their production environments.
Your mission
- Support customers with the application, setup, and optimization of industrial printing systems
- Analyze customer requirements and develop suitable, customized printing solutions
- Conduct product demonstrations, print tests, and sample production
- Provide technical support during installations, start-ups, and trials
- Train customers and internal teams on application-specific topics
- Collaborate closely with Sales, R&D, and Service teams
- Troubleshoot printing, ink, substrate, and process-related issues
- Document application results and prepare technical reports
- Support continuous improvement of applications and processes
- Represent the company at customer sites, exhibitions, and trade shows
Your profile
- Technical training or degree in printing technology, engineering, mechatronics, or a related field
- Experience in industrial printing (e.g., inkjet, digital, packaging, coding and marking, textile, or label printing)
- Solid knowledge of printing processes, inks, substrates, and workflows
- Proficiency in Adobe applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
- Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (occasionally)
- Good communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Strong technical knowledge in mechanics and electronics, including diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Analytical and structured working approach
- Strong presentation and training skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
